Q: Do I have to provide information to buy online?

A: Yes. You may browse through any of the jewelry and watches without pre-registration. However, to provide a safer and more secure online experience, we require all users to register before actually making a purchase. In order to buy online simply follow the promps, if you have an exisiting account you can sign in on the left hand side panel (myOhClock), and if not follow the registration process in myOhClock.

Q: Is registering to the site free?

A: Yes, of course!

Q: Is my information secure?

Yes. At OhClock.com your privacy and security are important to us! We guarantee that your personal information will be kept secure and private. We do not sell or rent information to any third parties. We are members of our Trade Associations and our company has been trading for just under 10 years.

Putting card details into a web site requires an element of trust, as many of us are not sure what is happening to the information we are submitting or where it is going.

Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode have changed the way in which internet card transactions appear to customers. In particular some customers find they are transferred to their bank which shows a web page which looks different from our own web site. When this happens you will see that the page is secure and originates from your own bank. It is safe to enter your details on this page.

When you use your card on our site the details are entered onto a secure https:// page which is securely encrypted during transport over the Internet so no one can read your card information. The card details are transferred to a processing centre and thence to your own card issuing Bank who are responsible for authorising your purchase under the new Securecode and Verified by Visa schemes which we subscribe to.

We guarantee that we will never:

  • Pass on your financial details to anyone other than your bank and the card processors.
  • Pass on any personal information gathered when you place an order
  • Sell or rent your details

Q: Do I have to read through every item or is there a search function?

You may choose to browse leisurely through our jewellery and watches categories or to search by keyword (such as designer or brand), by item number, or by desired price range. A list of the products containing the item(s) you are looking for will then be displayed. Clicking on a specific auction will take you directly to that item.

 

Q: Do I have to place a bid to look at an item?

No. There is never any obligation to bid on any item, and simply viewing an item does not constitute a bid. If you do wish to place a bid or purchase using the “Check Out” option on the right hand side of the picture of the item. The prompts will lead you to purchase.

 

Q: If I complete "Check Out" to an item can I retract it?

No. Please be sure that you are prepared to own the item you are checking out with. By completing the end of the check out, you are committing to the purchase. Q: Do I know before I buy how much shipping will be? Do I have shipping options such as overnight delivery and shipping to an alternate address?

Yes. Shipping and handling charges are based on the delivery option you choose. Expedited shipping and alternate shipping address options are generally available. Please refer to the Flat Rate Shipping Cost Table provided at the bottom of each listing to determine your shipping fees, including required insurance. We will ship your order via your chosen shipping method within 48 hours of receiving your complete payment for the item(s).

Q. Is The Item I’m Purchasing Authentic?

A. Oh Clock offers a 100% Guarantee of Authenticity on all items we sell. With over 10 years in the industry, we have built relationships with many Authorized Dealers, and have built our own reputation in providing nothing but the genuine product.

Q. How Long will it take to receive my package?

A. Our delivery times vary depending on where you are located.

Estimated time of arrival (handling + shipping):

UK buyers – up to 10 working days.
European buyers – up to 14 working days.
International buyers – up to 14 working days.

Q: Do you ship to all locations?

A: We ship worldwide! Contact us for a shipping price quote or consult the shipping table at the end of the product advertisement page.

Q. Do I need to deal with customs / pay taxes when I receive my parcel?

Our items are purchased and stored in different locations around the world. We will ship the ones stored outside EU borders in two stages: firstly to our logistical facility in the UK, and then to you. This process saves you from all dealings with customs, taxes etc. However, this procedure may take slightly longer due to the prolonged handling time of your order.

In any case, our handling time will be up to 7 working days.

Q. How Could You Sell These Items So Much Cheaper Than The Stores?

A. We sell in large volume thus we can offer our items with very minimal mark ups. Most stores have a 50% - 100% mark up since they do not sell in bulk quantities and have high overhead costs to cover.

Q. How Do I Know If The Item Is In Stock And Ready For Immediate Shipment?

A. If you are in doubt about the availability of an item simply press the bright pink-red button along side the items picture (titled "Check Availability"). Fill in your details and we will get back to you via email or phone. If the item is unavailable we will also do all that we can to locate it for you.

A. All "IN STOCK" items will be processed and shipped within 48 hours.

Watch Termanology – Need a hand?Q: What is meant by the terms: Automatic, Quartz, and a sweeping second hand?

Automatic refers to a watch movement that consists of a self-winding mechanism, which allows the watch to run on its own without batteries. The advantage to this is that batteries are not required for the watch to run. The disadvantage to it is that the watch should be serviced every few years to make sure it runs smoothly.

Quartz refers to a watch movement that runs from a battery. The advantage to this is that the watch normally lasts longer than an automatic watch. The disadvantage to it is that the battery has to be changed every so often.

A sweeping second hand refers to a second hand that sweeps smoothly instead of ticking once every second. Basically, its movement consists of a bunch of very tiny, rapid ticks that combine to make it look like the hand is sweeping smoothly. All automatic watches have a sweeping second hand, and all quartz watches have a ticking second hand.
